ancient Chinese bronze buckle for a Mongol style sword belt produced during the Yuan Dynasty 1271-1368 A.D. measuring 2.75\" x 2.625\" and weighing 2.2 oz. with real wear from normal use. The patterned section and the back side show smoothing of the surface under original patina along with a few small dings on the forward buckle bar. Absolutely genuine Mongol article from the occupation of Kublai Khan and his armies.
