On offer is the 1829 land grant signed by President Andrew Jackson and Commissioner of the General Land Office, George Graham. This is Certificate No. 7055 granting 80 acres to Jeremiah Davis of Warren County, registered in Crawfordsville, Indiana on April 2, 1829. It has Andrew Jackson\'s clear bold signature and the Presidential seal. This 10\" X 15 7/8\" document is on thick paper, possibly vellum. The Presidential seal is intact with a red backing. It has it\'s original 2 folds and recording information on the back. We believe this is in excellent, if not extraordinary condition. It has no tears, spots or damages. This is clear,easy to read, and an exceptional find. My friend grew up with this in her family home. To her knowledge, she has no ancestors named Davis. It has been carefully stored away for decades.
