Andrew Jackson - Document Signed as Document Signed (DS), signed “Andrew Jackson,” one page on vellum, 10.5\'\' x 12.5\'\', September 17, 1833. Scalloped-top ship’s pass issued to the “Ship Marcus of Fairhaven Obed Shearman master or commander of the burthen of 206 & 29/95 tons or thereabouts mounted with no guns navigated with 32 men To Pass with her Company Passengers Goods and Merchandize without any hinderance seisure or molestation the said Ship appearing by good testimony to belong to one or more of the Citizens of the United States and to him or them only.” Counter-signed by Secretary of State Edward Livingston. Framed to an overall size of 13\'\' x 18.5\'\'. In Very Good condition, with intersecting storage folds, two of which cross through Jackson’s signature, and scattered toning, soiling, and wrinkling. The white seal is in near perfect condition.
