This listing is for an extremely rare (available in the US only as a special import order in the mid 70s) beautifulhand carved alpine wood and hand painted “European Jay” figurine by Gunther Granget

The sculptor’s signature isengraved on the perch below and under the left claw of the Jay.

In excellent condition. There is a tooling mark/indentation next tothe 1/750 numbering on the bottom of the base.

The piece measures 13” long x 6 ¾” high x 5½” wide, including the base. Original box not included.
