17th Century Italian / Flemish Old Master Oil Painting.
Work Depicts the head of Mary Magdalena on canvas. Traditionally this painting would have been presented in an octagonal 17th century frame, popular during the period unfortunately the frame has been lost. The crazing of the paint in the hair is typical of Italian and Flemish painting\'s of the period (small and box like in shape). Painted in the manner of Corneille de Lyon with the green background but a bit later most likely 1st half of the 17th century. Work is clean with a varnish applied developed in conjunction with The National Gallery of Art for the preservation of antique Paintings. Free Shipping!
