This old church stained glass window belonged to a friend whose father was a German historian who had a collection of antique items displayed in his home. This was part of his collection. I do not know the exact age, but it is believed to date from the 1800s. The stained glass window measures 17 1/4\" by 15 3/4\". The glass is very thick and held together with thick solder that was hand done. It is also hand etched and painted. It is a very beautiful piece. The picture appears to be a figural of St. Hubert, the patron saint of hunters hinting a deer with a crucifix displayed in it\'s antlers. I would welcome any information beyond what I have. If you know something about this piece, please let me know! Condition is very good for its age. It needs a good cleaning and has a crack which measures 4\" long across the animal\'s body. There is also a 1\" crack right below it. I have included a photo of the cracks. Sorry, no international shipping for this item. It is too fragile. This has been stored in a smoke and pet free home.
