Antique 1800s GOLD CAST IRON \"WARNER\" VICTORIAN ROCOCO ORNATE OVAL PICTURE FRAMEBeautiful antique frame measuring 11\" tall by 8.5\" wide with an oval 5\" X 3.5\" image area.The piece is cast metal, most likely cast iron with gold paint/gilt coating with an array of connected acanthus leaves around the exterior.It has 3 prongs on the back to secure a photo or mirror, see photo #12.It appears to have once had a foot on the back for table-top display, but it is no longer there and only the nub is left.Also please note there is no glass in the oval image area.Structurally it is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips but does have typical patina and paint loss/wear.It has a marking in the rear lower left side that reads 08939, see photo #4, and I believe it was made by \"Warner\".
