A beautiful antique Georgian solid silver vinaigrette with a gilt interior and grill. There is a panel for initials on the lid which is unmarked.
Hallmarked both on the lid and under the grill, this is Birmingham silver from 1809.
In excellent condition with strong hinges and good closing action on the lid. The hinge on the internal grill needs repair, but the grill itself fits perfectly into the base.
Measures 25mm x 19mm x 7mm. Weight is 11.5g.
