Antique Late 1800s Victorian Blue Floral Silk Lace Dress Set / Women\'s Extra Small / Long Maxi Skirt & Long Sleeve Bodice

Features:

• Antique silk dress set.

• Two piece: blouse and long skirt.

• Color: blue, white and black with Tan lace appliqués.

• Floral print.

• Hook and eye closures at back blouse and Small Ivory buttons at bottom.

• Pleated at bottom hem of skirt with tan lace appliqués.

• Material: silk, cotton and lace.

******Amazing details at blouse:

• Tan cotton neckline with black loop stitch detail.

• Lace appliqués at sleeves.

• Tan cotton and black loop stitch at sleeves that mimics the neckline.

• I believe there is boning at the blouse interior.

• Lined interior.

• Circa 1890s. (this is my best guess / maybe earlier)

Condition:

AS IS; Although I found minimal tearing / holes, there is alot of staining to the gown. There is also underarm staining. I have not tried to remove the stains because the silk is so delicate. The vibrant print helps mask some of the staining.

For its age 120+ years, the dress set was well taken care of!

Would make a beautiful display or Victorian movie costume!
