This is a super nice very well made ladies pin or brooch, from the Art Nouveau period of the 1920\'s. The pin is solid 18k yellow gold, and has an original swing up bale, so it can also be worn as a pendant on a chain.
All the diamonds are old mine cuts and they are gorgeous quality, and all original to this pin. There are approx. 50 diamonds in total, and they are from 6 points to 1 points, each, and all nice quality.
The pin measures 29.5mm or 1.14 inches in diameter, and the pin part works well, as does the swing up bale. The pin weighs a nice and solid 8.0 grams in solid 18k gold.
This is in ready to wear condition, without damage or repair marks. It is guaranteed to be solid 18k yellow gold, a minimum of 90 years old, and in ready to wear condition.
I know GOLD is high, and prices seem crazy, but just think back to when it was $650 an ounce and you stopped yourself from buying because you thought gold was too high, THEN! You could be kicking yourself, when gold gets to over $2000!!
