An Antique 18th century Greek Icon depicting St Panteleimon the healer, Shown with a Medicine box & SpoonExceptionally fine Sgrafitto & Grisaile wash work over the gilded ground on the robe. Finely Detailed face & HandsApprox 12\" x 9\" wide. Painted on a 1 1/4\" thick pine panel with two stabilizing splines. Total thickness of 1 5/8\"In good Antique condition with areas on minor surface crazing in the varnish. Evidence of past insect damageincluding minor losses at three corners, but otherwise Stable & Solid. From a small estate collection of Icons, all of which were accessed & treated as needed in 1990\'s, by Gregory Gromadsky, a San Francisco Icon Restorer
