An 18th Century solid Sterling Silver George2nd Hanoverian table spoon, with full hallmarks stamped to the centre of the back of the handle. The London Silversmith was Roger Hare, a rare maker, and he made this spoon in 1754. This is a beautiful spoon with a lovely swirl feather / fleur de lyspattern to theunderside of the bowland in good condition, particularly when considering its great age -almost three hundred years old. The silver is thick andsubstantial, and once polished will look fabulous, although I am leaving that to the discretion of the buyer, who may prefer to keep it untouched.
