Antique 1900 - 1920\'s Jet beaded and sequinned snood or headpiece. I think this was worn by someone with longer hair perhaps a victorian hairsyle to cover the back of hair. It is most unusual and I have only see these in books and have never found another like this. Condition: as shown with some tearing to the net and some mending or reinforcing needed. I have shown the snood in different positions so you can see the worst of the tears or holes. A very rare and unusual piece and would be terrific matched with a flappers jet beaded and sequin dress to have a unique outfit.
