Gorgeous ANTIQUE MAJOLICA PITCHER featuring purple flowers, deep pink, rich brownand green motifs on an aqua colored background. The interior of the piece is a deep vivid pink. After much researching, I traced this pitcher to an antique site that lists it as being made in Belgium between 1900 and 1910 (search Majolica pitcher with purple flowers). It is excellent condition with no cracks or chips, just the desired light crazing that can be seen in the last photo. It measures 9 3/4\" tall, 7 1/4\' by 6\", with a 5 \" diameter base. The markings on the bottom are \"S and A\" with a symbol I haven\'t deciphered. Please see all photos. A lovely and unusual piece for the collector.
