Up for your consideration is an antique/vintage one quart hand fire extinguisher, with instructions reading \"Turn Handle and Pump\". The label features the brand GENERAL QUICK AID FIRE GUARD, Heavy Duty -Model 35. This was produced by the General Detroit Corporation and according to the label was inspected by THE UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES INC. I would date this to the early 1900s. The entire extinguisher, I believe, is made of brass.

Condition:
Does have some heavy patina, which I suspect would come right off with a good polish. I\'ve seen some sellers polish these to a bright brass hue, however some buyers prefer the patina intact, so we will leave that up to you. Otherwise, good condition. Some light fading to writing, and some expected wear to the metal due to age.

Measurements:
Weighs a good 4 pounds.
13 inches tall by around 3 inches in diameter.
