From a local estate comes this unusual antique pottery water pitcher decorated with images of people golfing. I have scoured the internet, but cannot find a comparable. It looks similar to Royal Doulton, but it is unmarked. One side shows a woman about to hit a golf ball, while a man and two other women look on. The other side shows a large man in a long coat with a boy caddy carrying clubs next to him. Based on the clothing, I would date this to the early 1900s to teens. It also has a green decorative line around the top and on the handle.It measures approximately 7 3/8” tall; bottom is about 5 7/8” wide. It has some glaze crazing over the whole piece, and three very tight cracks at the top, only one which can be felt (with fingernail). No other chips or damage.
