Beautiful solid mahogany projection lens storage box. The case still contains some of the precision projection lenses for Jones & Lamson optical comparators. Box is made of 3/8\" mahogany and assembled using fingerjoints for strength. Original catch and hinges are in good working order. Box measures 11 3/4\" wide x 9 1/8\" deep and 3 1/2\" tall. Inside measures 10 7/8\" wide x 8 1/2\". Box was refinished with MinWax Satin varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. Rubber feet on bottom. Some very minor marks from age and use. Shipping weight approximately 6 1/2 pounds. !Very Fast Handling! Ships day after payment is received.
