Antique 1905 Egypt Through the Stereoscope Book StereoviewBy J H Breasted, Accompanies the Underwood & Keystone 100 Card Egypt have collected 3D photo memorabilia for 30+ years and it\'s time that I let some of my prized collectibles go.
This is the very rare book published in the year 1905 by Underwood & Underwood that accompanied the \'EGYPT Through the Stereoscope\' Stereoview cardset that they produced as well as the set that Keystone produced of the same name. It is a rare edition with 360 pages has brown cloth boards with gilttitling to front & spine . It has all of it\'s pages and text is complete, but it is missing the additional map booklet that are bound in a separate booklet and fitsinside a pocket on the back side of the book. The book is in excellent condition with the exception of the damage to the rear pocket. It appears to have beenshoved into a tight bookcase which wrinkled the rear pocket and tore about 1\" of the top seam of the pocket. Unfortunate damage, but this book is a hardone to find in any condition and should accompany every Egypt Stereocard Card set! Other than the wear, the binding is tight! All pages are present,unripped, and not folded in any way. There is no writing, underlining, high lighting, rips, tears or other defects. The pages are all white and perfect! Not badfor a 110+ year old book!
After the page numbering ends, there are anadditionalsix pages containing advertising for other available set as well as lists off several of the stereoview setsof cards that were available at that time, and how many cards were in each set. It contains very useful information for anyone who collects stereocards andnot just those who have the Egypt stereocard set.The book is in very nice condition.
