This is a Mills Novelty side vendor for their Owl slot machine. It originally attached to the side of a slot machine and dispensed mints in order to make a slot machine legal to use in certain areas of the country. It is in excellent antique condition with minimal paint wear. It stands 19\" tall overall x 4-1/4\" wide (excluding side lever). Inside is dusty with some cobwebs, but otherwise very clean with minimal (if any) indication of use. The small padlock is not original, but comes with a key. It has a patent date of April 4, 1911 and reads, \"DELICIOUS CONFECTION\" on the front.Shipping price includes insurance.
