I have an antique 1913 L F & C (Landers, Frary, and Clark Co.) Universal slide out lunch box with a Penimaid Vacuum Bottle thermos in good condition for its age. The lunch box has surface rust, scratches, and a few minor dents (it\'s an OLD lunch box!). It has a leather handle in good shape except one end that secures it to the lunch box is gone. It measures 4 3/4\" wide by 10\" long and 7\" tall. The slide out fits very snug in the lunch box and is in very good condition (again surface rust and scratches - OLD lunch box!). The bottom of the lunch box is stamped \"Patented - Feb 11-13 - May 13-13 - D R No 550198.
The thermos is stamped on the bottom Penimaid Vacuum Bottle and was made by J. C. Penney Co., made in the USA. It measures 9 1/2\" tall by 3\"+ in diameter. This thermos originally was sealed with a cork but the cork is missing now. The cup has some minor dents but screws on tightly to the thermos. This would make a great addition to your collection or would be great for a decoration/conversation piece. Please take a look at my other items I have listed too. A-87
