Here for your consideration is a truly magnificent and rare, antique, Art Nouveau, fully hallmarked, sterling silver, complete three piecetea set, with exquisite pierced decoration, and made by one of the very best Victorian silversmiths, James Deakin & Sons in 1916.

This stunning tea set features an aesthetic, finely applied pierced floral decoration, with delightful scrolls handles and gallery rim, all beautifully set on four gothic scrolling legs.A very attractive in appearance tea set, designed in a distinctive renaissance rococo, gothic, Arts and Crafts style.

Absolutely stunning workmanship, all fully hallmarked with a shield cartouche JD over WD and made by\'James Deakin & Sons\', all assayedin Sheffield with the crown, lion passant and most importantly all three pieces have the same date letter, a gothic \'y\' for 1916also all three items are stamped to their bases with the same pattern number H7302.

Considering this tea set has remained together for 99 years it\'s in fantastic original condition, with no dents, splits, repairs or damage.The tea set does have some beautiful age related silver patina wear, commensuratewith its 99 years of age, but nothing unusual. Just a very impressive and heavy tea set, with a total combinedsilver weight of 1509 grams or 48.52 troy oz !!
