This is a fantastic and rare Bauhaus Pitcher by the the Schramsberg Factory in Nurenberg Germany, fabricated during the late 1920\'s. It is in superb condition. There is no wear. It essentially has never been used. The lines, the form, the hefty weight of the fine porcelain, and the luster ware finish make this pitcher a work of art. It literally is everything that is the best of the Bauhaus wrapped into one item. The clever simplicity is sublime. This lovely pitcher measures just over 4 inches tall by eight inches wide and 4.5 inches wide. As a long time collector of Bauhaus ceramics this work has only been used for display in a steel and glass cabinet. It is being offered for the very first time.
