This is a rare poster by \"La Compagnie Singer\" for their \"Machines a Coudre\" (sewing machines):48\" by 32\".Thecompany used the same big red \"S\" in their advertisements, and the style of the woman\'s clothes and hair -- as well as the model of the sewing machine itself -- changed with the times.

This poster is especially rare because it has a wooden piece along both the top and bottom and is lined in tin. This makes it extremely durable, and it was hung as a window display.

This was discovered in Lyon, the historical textile capital of France.
