Offered is a Dutch, .833 purity solid silver side handle chocolate pot. Circa later 1800s. Hallmarked underneath and on lid. Beautifully decorated with florals and figural cherubs on the body. A horned face depicting satan in under the spout. a little lion holding a shield is the lids finial. Stands on four cherub head legs. Great quality. No monograms. Handle is super solid. Measures 6.25\" from handle to front x 3.75\" wide x 6.75\" tall. Weighs 262 grams. Superb condition for the age with minimal signs of any wear. The two of the feet are slightly pushed in into the bodyhas a tiny wobble. Tiny lean to the lids lion finial.
