Here is a hand pieced and hand quilted circa 1880s Birds inthe Air quilt. The patterns are offered in an array of early calico prints on adouble pink field. The blue print binding is sewn by hand to the double pinkbacking. There is a rod pocket sewn in at the back for hanging display. Thereis wear to some pieces as well as splitting to a few areas of the field,therefore we offer this quilt as is and the measurements are approx. 72” by 72”.
