Antique 19th Century 9ct Gold Old Cut Blue Paste Austro Hungarian Ring

This unusual ring is crafted from silver (face) and gold (band) and set with central oval blue Paste stone and surrounded by small green paste stones with an outer band of channel set paste. I believe the ring is Austro Hungarian from the late 19th Century. The green paste stones have OldEuropean diamond cut with high crown & narrow table cutting pastes likethis would have been difficult because they were so much softer thandiamonds. Paste jewellery is becomingincreasing more rare and collectable nowadays.

Measurements: The face measures 12mm x 15mm with a shamk width of 2mm.
Ring Size: N(Internal Diameter 17.1mm)

Weight: 2.5grams

Marked: No marks but tests as silver and gold.

Age: Circa 1890

Condition: Some wear to the central blue paste stone and some colour variation in the green paste stones. Condition can be subjective so I have included super size images. Please inspect them carefully as they form part of the description.
