. *Purchase gives you 1 entry in this month\'s raffle! See below for details!
This beautiful Homespum Flax Thread/Yarn was made c1890s, but may be earlier. It is a natural, raw flax so has variations in color, but overall is a creamy light ecru hue and is in excellent condition! This can be used for quite an array of projects, like darning old European grain sacks, mending antique homespun bed linens or torchons, it can be used as a nostalgic gift wrap adornment, to hang Christmas Ornaments, to hang mistletoe, for drying herbs, making projects using antique linens/grain sacks, such as rustic grain sack pillows, table runners, and more! It looks lovely as display too, atop an Antique Cutting board, hung up on a wall, draped over a galvanized bucket, etc <3 There is a LOT of thread to work with in this skein/hank, which is wrapped in a circle, and the tail end wrapped around it to secure it & keep the thread tidy & organized. A must for the lover or collector of Antique French textiles!Measurements: 545 Yards. Diameter varies as it is a natural, raw fibre, but overall most is between 1mm-2mm in diameterThe photos truly do not justify the rustic beauty of this lovely, raw flax!If you would like any more photos, please do not hesitate to ask

So please, do not hesitate to message me, i will gladly respond & provide additional photos & any information if you\'d like Ours is a smoke free & pet free home, however, with antique & vintage, previously owned items it is possible that a previous owner\'s home may have been otherwise. As one who is highly allergic to smoke, cats & some dogs with short, wirey fur, & with consideration for those who have severe allergies, if I notice any signs or odors indicating any allergens of this nature, it will be noted in the listing I typically do not clean antique items, to preserve the natural patina that only Time & Age can truly create. There may be some patina, oxidation, dirt, odor, etc due to age, storage & material. Many collectors prefer to clean their items themselves or take it to a professional who they trust, or leave them exactly as found, so I will leave that option up to the new Keeper When you as the Buyer purchase, you agree to & understand the following: *Unless otherwise stated in the listing, details regarding the Physical Attributes, Origin & Age of items have not been verified by an outside, professional 3d party
