Antique 19thC Schney Porcelain Strawflower Coffee Pot Porzellan Kanne German:

For sale is a coffee pot made by Schney in the mid 19th century. Schney was founded in 1781 and was in existence for a long time until about 1928. The pot is hand painted with an under glaze straw flower design on a ribbed body. The pot and lid are in great condition with just a hairline crack in the bottom of the handle and a chipped area to mostly the underside of the lid rim. The piece is marked underneath with the script S. under two crossed lines mark in under glaze blue. There is also an incised 7. The pot is 9.75 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter plus the lid is an extra 2.5 inches tall.
