We are listing for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th Century Oil on Stretched Canvas Painting of a Landscape with 2 people, a bridge and buildings in the background along with trees and scrubs and the sun setting. The painting is in Excellent Condition with slight wear at the edge of the canvas and there is crazing throughout the paint. The frame has slight surface wear, it is a newer frame. The canvas has been stretched on an older wood frame, there is remnants of an earlier canvas at the edge on the wood. We guarantee 100% you will be more than happy with the excellent condition. The painting measures 16 1/2\" x 13\" x 1 1/2\" at the outer frame, the showing canvas measures 13\" x 9 1/2\" and weighs with frame approximately 1lb 10oz. We did not find a signature. The painting features 2 persons, they both look to be female,at the left before a small bridge with trees and buildings in the background at the right and the sun setting to the left. Looks to be a Roman or Italian scene. Great colors to the sky and the landscape.
