We arelisting for your consideration a lovely Antique 19th century Stoneware Redware Slip Decorated Small Pennsylvania Dish or Plate. Thisplate is in Excellent Condition with no chips,cracks, and or repairs. There is some loss to the slip glaze on the wavy lines, 2 very small surface nicks to the top rim,crazing,and some slight manufactured roughness, you can refer to the pictures. We guarantee 100% you will be more thanhappy with the excellent condition. The plate measures 7 1/2\" in diameter x 1 1/4\" tall x 4\" at the slightly rounded base and weighs approximately 12oz. The plate features a wonderful clear lead glaze with wonderful orange or pumpkin coloring along with a great center slip decoration of 6 wavy lines. The edge is hand nicked. A great smaller example of PennsylvaniaRedware dating from the mid 1800\'s, this plate would makea great addition to anyone\'s collection.
