Antique genuine c1870 South African Zulu knobkerrie - knobkierie ...a stick with a knob on the end.. which is all from one bit of wood.
The wood is knocked and bruised with natural drying out splits and marks.
The spherical top is really nice with a good size and well formed ...very nice patina to it all.
I do not clean my items or polish them ... they are just as I get them from the deceased estate sales.
The knob has a couple of knots by the look of it which adds character to the stick.
The stick is 34 and half inch long x nearly 3 inch dia head... that is 88cm long x 7.5cm dia head.
This will have to be sent to you overseas via GLOBAL PRIORITY which is the safest and quickest postage service.
If there is a drinks can in the photograph that is for scale only.. you will not be getting that as well !
