Antique 19thc Regency Portrait Miniature Frame in lacquered black wood - not papier mache. There are two decorative lines around the inner edge of the frame which give a look of inlay & a gilt metal oval centre for the picture & the original hanging loop. There are some small scuffs in a couple of areas of the frame mainly around the two lines of \' inlay \' at bottom left & the frame has no glass - there is no other damage so still a good but a little time worn piece ! All shown very clearly in the photos. Last two photos show the back. Size outer : 5.25 inches x 4 inches - inner oval approx. 2.75 inches x 2.25 inches. Thank you for looking.
