Antique 1L Enameled Glass German Beer Stein with an Ornate Pewter Lid. Dated 1847.This stein is enameled with colorful flowers and a short German phrase. It has an engraved pewter lid dated 1847 with makers touch marks on the underside. The hinge is closed and the thumblift is very ornate. It has a solid glass pedestal base and it is about 10\" high.The bottom has a rough pontil mark. There is a heat check line at the lower handle attachment (see the photos) and BEST OF ALL... .
