Found at an estate sale: here is the largest toleware metal tray that I have seen. This 19th century tray, fully 27-1/2\" across, features a still life with flowers and fruit, hand painted, with gilded detailing along the perimeter.Condition is very good with expected wear: very minor crazing and gilt loss. Some scratches to the underside. Do not know themeaning of the painted number \"6754\" on the back. Likely made in U.S. but uncertain. Circa 1850-1900.
