This 18k white gold ruby and diamond cocktail ring weighs 5.8 grams. The ring has a dark wine red ruby, elegantly faceted in the traditional step cut, measuring 10x8 mm and weighing an estimated 3.50 carats. The ruby is eye clean, and besides a visible chip from wear due to age, the stone only has minor inclusions only visible with a 10x jeweler\'s magnifying loupe. I have opted NOT to have the stone recut to maintain the integrity of this genuine antique. The ruby has been jeweler graded to be VS in clarity and dark pigeon blood red in color. The ruby is set in the classic halo cocktail, with 15 Old European Cut diamonds around it. The diamonds are eye clean and colorless, and have been jeweler graded to be VS2 in clarity and F in color. They have a total approximate caratweight of 0.75 carats. This ring comes as a US size 6.75 and can be sized to 2 sizes for free.
