LADIES HAND BRASS DOOR KNOCKER

This is a beautiful architectural hardware piece. Victorian ladies hand holding a rose? or ball. See the pictures - it looks like a rose to me!Love the ruffled sleeve and ring on her hand. Beautiful rectangular back piece.Complete with a flower shaped striker plate. Bolt on the striker plate is stuck in place - may need to hit it with a lot of WD40 to get it to release. Neat details.

I\'m no metal expert, but best guess is solid brass.Joint pivots well.

Approx. Dimensions of hand: 4 1/2\" long x 1 3/4\" wide (4 3/4\" long including base). Rectangular base is 2 3/8\" x 1 3/4\" Striker Base is 3\" long. Flower is 1 3/4\" diameter. Bolt portion is 2 1/2\" long x 3/16\".

Weight - 1 pound 10 oz. before boxing.
