A very nice Albany slip glaze “Russian” pitcher with appliedhandle, late 19th century. Russian is in quotes because these werenot made in Russia. They were made by the Red Wing potters by request for aRussian Mennonite community and the name stuck. These were also referred to asflip pitchers.

Measurements: It is 10” (25.40cm) tall.

Condition: There are some spots where the glaze did notcover well and a couple where the glaze bubbled, see images. It is otherwise ingood condition. No chips, no cracks, nocrazing, no repairs.
