Being offered is a charming, antique, American,primitive, handmade, oaksplint, butt/buttocks basket. The basket has inticate detail. The condition is great(see photos).There are twobroken splints on the rim (not noticeable). There is a slight disclororation in the bottom (see photos).The solid construction basket istightly wovenand has a warm, rich patina. A \"beautiful\" basket.

A great addition to any handmadebasketor Folk Art/Primitives collection. Great to decorating with Spring flowers.
