This tall coffeepot is a very nice classically shaped example. This is a maker that is getting more difficult to find. The coffee pot has an impressed mark on the underside of the base that reads, \"A. PORTER\". This is the mark of Allen Porter who worked out of Westbrook, Maine between 1830 - 1840. This maker is listed in \"Guide To American Pewter\" by Carl Jacobs, page 147, where a tall coffeepot was valued at $60 back in 1957. This coffeepot is offered here with .
DIMENSIONS: The pewter coffeepot is 11 1/2\" H. x 5 1/8\" W. x 10 3/4\" L. from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle.
CONDITION: The condition is very good to excellent with some minor scratching and loss of paint to the handle the minor flaws.
