Here you will find a very special piece. It is what I like to call \'Reinvented Antique/Vintage\', where I take an already gorgeous, quality chandelier and re-create it into an even more beautiful piece of working art. I have been creating chandeliers for many years and some of my creations hang in fabulous places all over the world.
The Art Deco style and the flowing lines of the Irish Wolfhound seemed like a perfect match. I believe it turned out spectacularly and already have more planned depicting the Wolfhound and other breeds as well. Since they are recreated, they are all one of a kind. The main body of this chandelier is from that great era of the 1920\'s to 1930\'s. It is heavy, thick, non-magnetic metal and antique brass in color. It is further adorned by metal filigree prisms, cut glass globes and crystal prisms. Five Irish Wolfhounds surround the base, their graceful lines and commanding appearance further add to its mystique.
The Irish Wolfhound fancier will fall in love with this piece, however it\'s beautiful detailing will appeal to many. I will let the photos do the talking as words fail to capture how gorgeous it really is. It is an impressive 22 inches wide by 42 inches long, this is from top of chandelier body to tip of bottom metal filigree prism. It has been professionally rewired, with three more lights added, so it now has a total of 8 lights, 7 candelabra base 1 regular base. I have left about 15 feet of the electric cord so one has the option of hanging it anywhere with a chain and plugging it in, or cutting it to the proper length and direct wiring it.
I photographed it with a dimmer to show the many different, beautiful looks that you get from this chandelier. I also photographed it to show what it looks like with lights off, which proves it is a work of art in itself. Even with the lights off you can not help but be mesmerized by its dramatic ornate presence. This is a showstopper. It is not just a light fixture, but in every right a work of art with the benefit of serving as a decorative lighting chandelier. It will be the focal point in any room without a doubt.
