Up forsale is an Estate sale find, anAntique 1920\'s Art DecoMASSIVE 12ct Faceted Top Cushion Cut Ruby10k Solid Yellow Gold Men\'s Ring in EXCEPTIONALCONDITION.This7.6 Gram (0.27 Ounce)Over 1/4Ounce Antique 1920\'s Art Deco 10k Solid Yellow Gold ring is set with a Beautiful MASSIVE 12ct 16x14mm Ruby with amazing RED COLOR and NEAR PERFECT CLARITY. This ruby has AMAZING LUSTER. This ruby is aCushion Cut with a Faceted Topthat sparkles like a disco ball in the light. The gemstone tests as a ruby on a Presidium Gem Tester and a reflectometer and is most likely very high quality lab grown ruby. This gemstone has not been removed from the setting for testing so we cannot say definitively it is a natural ruby as it is most likely a very high quality lab grown ruby. A Lab Grown Ruby has the exact same physical, optical, and chemical properties of a Natural Ruby meaning it is as hard and scratch resistant. The waves and swirls on the ruby in the photos are not blemishes but shadows and reflections because the polished surface is difficult to photograph. The ring is a classic 10k Solid Yellow GoldAntique 1920\'s Art Deco Ring with great column details on the shoulders of the setting. The darker grooves on the sides of the ring are the natural patina of the ring that only comes with age. We only lightly polished the ring and did not remove this patina. If you would like us to polish the ring further to remove this patina just let us know, it is no problem at all. This ring is fully marked \"10k\" and tests as and is guaranteed to be 10k solid gold. Sizing by your local jeweler is relatively inexpensive and you will have a ring that properly fits your finger. All size 9 rings are not the same. The ring may fit on a mandrel and measure as a size 9 but the way the ring is made, the way the ring has been enlarged or reduced, and the finger type you have may make it fit like an 8 or 10 or worse. The rise from the finger measurement is the height of the ring from the finger to the peak of the gemstone when worn.
