On offer today is a very lovely antique Art Deco era enameled guilloche compact for powder and rouge. The guilloche and hand painted enamel work on this item is truly superb, and in fact the only issues I\'m able to see are first, the tiniest fleck of missing paint at the little red button that opens the compact, and what may be some loss of gold wash at the rim below the tiny red button.

Divided by a round mirrored silver colored plate that acts as mirror for both sides, one of cake rouge with applicator puff and wax paper protector, the other for loose powder and original powder applicator puff. A fair quantity of original owner\'s face powder is still present, as is the original powder screen, made for this compact.

An utterly lovely vintage treasure.

Compact measures 60mm across 5\" by 12mm thick.
