Antique Art Deco Cast Iron Bookends with Nude Female Dancer in Floral Hoop.

Offered for sale are these antique bookends with nude female dancer in a large floral hoop. These are obviously old and nicely worn with an antiqued/patina “bronze looking finish”. However, I believe they are painted to look like bronze, because there are chips here and there in the finish, exposing the black/gray iron casting underneath. There is what appears to be a paint run on the base of each piece.

Condition: Pre-owned with numerous small chips in the finish and a hairline crack in the girl’s calf of one piece where it meets the floral hoop (see photos for details). Painted, not plated. There is what appears to be a paint run on the base of each piece.

The felt paper bottoms are old and worn from age and use.
