The tray was cast in solid brass/bronze and depicts one very lovely mythological maiden seemingly swept up by a sea of flora & fauna or the like.(Please note the darling dragonfly to the viewers bottom right) The piece is undoubtedly steeped in an Art noveau style and to when the piece most likely dates. The piece is old with an age related patina to match. Please review all attached photographs as they will best represent this wonderful Antique items description and condition.
