Hallmarked with crown, Plumes and PGS

PGS (plated German Silver) was typical of “fancy” piecesimported to England by Albert Silber or his partner Fleming. They were wholesalers who imported a largerange of household items including silver plate. In 1886 Fleming retired in 1898. The firm was acquired by Faudal Phillips& Sons.
