Gorgeous Arts & Crafts large rocking chair c. 1900. Unmarked but constructed by a highly skilled cabinetmaker. Each of the four posts have a carved tulip motif, very popular in the art nouveau / craftsman movement. Seat has beenrecoveredin a high end green mohair fabric secured by large decorativenail-heads. Normal wear to chair frame including small bumps/nicks. Left arm has a slight bit of play, does not affectfunction.
