Antique Austro Hungarian Meerschaum Pipe Bowl With Silver and Amber Wind Cap .In very good smoked condition, stem missing. Screw fitting from what would have been an amber stem is still there (see photo\'s) making it easier to replace.Bowl fittings and mounting are 900 Silver, Austro Hungarian hallmarked for between 1872-1922. (see photo\'s).Wind cap is fashioned from pure amber.
Stamped on bowl rim & mounting : Austro Hungarian Hallmark 900 silver 1872-1922.Also makersinitials, looks like E.U, or may be F.U. can\'t be sure.Measures without stem : 11 cm long, bowl height 7 cm, bowl outer diameter 3,5 cm, bowl inner diameter 2.2 cm.
