Antique Authentic Japanese Hand Blown Glass Fishing Ball / Float / Buoywith original Rope Netting; Ball is Light Blue glass. This is an authentic antique that is from a great Westerly, RI estate of an elderly 92 yr old couple. The man was a fisherman long, long ago and had a collection of these in his basement. Some still had old barnacles still on them. The glass is in EXCELLENT CONDITION; no cracks, no breaks, nochips. It is hand blown so has some airbubbles in the glassfrom the glass blowing. Nipple / pontil still intact.The rope net is original; most of it is still present, but it is quite old and flaking a bit. Size of glass itself is approx. 6\" diameter. This is probably circa 1950.
