This base has no font or glass and dates from the late 1800s. It measures 17 ¾” tall (9” tall figure) and holds up to 5 ½” diameter font with the outer top rim 6 ½”. The base is of cast iron while the figure is cast white metal and the elegant open work basket is cast and riveted brass. He looks great viewed from all angles and has the typical crack at the ankle you often find on this style lamp.
