Antique Czech Bronze Inkwell With Baboon Face Design
A very interesting piece! This beautiful bronze inkwell features a simple design: smooth lines and slopes, with an embossed baboon face on the front of the piece. The well has a glass cup and a flap that folds down to cover the ink. Just under the face, there is a pen rest.
The underside is stamped with "Czechoslovakia" and "Geschützt" "Real Bronce" and "Déposé."
